As a solution provider, our engineers designed one of the first explosion proof liquid and gas flow computers to be placed on the meter run rather than the control room. These meter mounted flow computers not only reduced the wiring costs dramatically, it also provided more accurate data, and saved the field operators’ time and effort in the calibration and maintenance.

Dynamic Flow Computers

The Micro MV is a 32-Bit, Dual Meter Run, Custody Flow Computer for Liquid, Industrial Gas, and Natural Gas Applications featuring: Three Frequency Channels, Four Analog Inputs, One Analog Output, Four Digital I/O’s, One RS-232 Port, Two RS-485 Ports, One Printer Output, and a Rosemount Multivariable Transmitter. The Micro MS4 is a 32-bit, four (4) meter run, custody flow computer used for measuring natural gases and crude oil.

It utilizes an analog input or a Master Comm. Port to retrieve data from other meter runs for additional I/O’s. It may be connected to three (3) external multivariable transmitters or any other Dynamic Flow Computers to produce data for the four (4) meter runs. Stack DP’s may be used to increase the differential pressure range and performance.

Dual streams with independent products can be measured, as well as a single stream with up to two (2) meter runs. A forward and reverse totalizer is established for the meter run using the DP signal or a digital input for direction indication.

The E-Plus is a single meter run (up to three meter runs), custody flow computer for Liquid or Gas Application featuring: three 4-20mA/1-5VDC analog inputs; one RTD input (direct connection to the flow computer uses two of the analog input channels); one 4-20mA analog output; one digital/status input; two digital/switch outputs; two frequency  inputs (frequency input uses one digital input or output channel); and one RS-232/RS-485 communication port (2nd port is available with a WDS upgrade).

 

E-Plus GL

The E-Plus is a dual meter run, custody flow computer with an ultralow power, 32-bit microprocessor, and two (2) auxiliary, non-compensated, frequency-type meter connections.

Dual streams with independent products can be measured, as well as a single stream with up to two (2) meter runs. The E-Plus GL has an added software feature of Tank Gauging capability.

 

E-Plus TS

The E-Plus TS is a four (4) meter run, custody flow computer using an ultra-low power, 32-bit microprocessor. It is designed to receive signals from a Test Separator vessel in order to determine daily production of oil, gas, and water for each given well (*up to eight (8) wells). Reports are generated to the current API 20. 1 Allocation Metering standard.

The D.P gas meter is measured via a Multivariable Module 205 Sensor, while the oil flow meter (including BS&W) is used to correct crude volume alongside the shrinkage factor.

A Salt water correction algorithm is included for the water outlet meter.

 

E-Lite 100

The E-Lite is a single meter run, custody flow computer for Liquid or Gas Application featuring: one RTD input or two 4-20mA analog inputs; one RS-232/RS-485 communication port (2nd port is available with a WDS upgrade); and an EXP expansion is available to add: two 4-20mA/1-5VDC analog inputs; two 1-30VDC analog/status/frequency inputs; and two digital/switch output & one 4-20mA analog output.

 

E-Lite EXP

The E-Lite EXP is a single meter run, custody flow computer featuring a standard one (1) DP/Frequency meter connection, two (2) auxiliary, uncompensated, Frequency-type meter connections, and an ultra-low power, 32-bit microprocessor.

An optional Multivariable Module 205 Sensor may be integrally mounted to the E-Lite to allow accurate determination of differential pressure, static pressure, and temperature.

 

E-Lite EXP L1

The E-Lite EXP L1 is a single meter run, custody flow computer with an ultra-low power, 32-bit microprocessor. It is primarily used in Metering and Well Injection Testing.

The SFC332 is a dual meter bi-directional field mounted flow computer which can be used for all liquid and gas applications, including custody or non-custody measurements. Using orifice plate, Venturi, turbine/PD/ultrasonic mass meter, or wedge devices, it can meter a wide variety of products, such as crude, refined product, LPG/NGL products, products that use table 24C, ethylene, propylene, and water.

SFC332P prover flow computers store data for up to 60 meters and can easily be configured from inside a vehicle with a laptop. With the push of a button proving is initiated for any of the 60 meters.

The SmartCone™, a variable area/beta ratio differential pressure cone meter, is a fluid flow meter that uses a measured differential pressure to provide a robust, accurate, repeatable and optimal cost measurement solution for both gas and liquid measurement.

The SmartCone™ meter produces a differential pressure which can be read by any standard differential pressure or multivariable transmitter.

The meter is the first differential pressure cone meter to use artifact calibration techniques similar to orifice plate technology, which is inherent in the design. Each SmartCone™ meter has a verifiable geometry between subsequent manufactured devices using accurate and robust machined castings. It features the unique ability to offer a beta or area ratio change per diameter using interchangeable ARC’s. This allows the metered products’ flow velocity characteristics to be aligned correctly throughout the life of the meter.
