Pressure measurement in cleanrooms, air conditioning and OEM applications

You need to control the pressure in your cleanroom, to protect it from contaminated air. You need to supervise an air filter or a fan in the field of air conditioning. Your machine needs to have an underpressure or overpressure maintained. Or the volume flow within your air duct shall be measured.

 

Halstrup - Walcher BA 1000 Precise absolute pressure transmitter for atmospheric pressure

The BA 1000 absolute pressure transmitter is designed to display barometric pressure. At the heart of the unit is an evacuated measurement cell made from an elastic copper material.The deflection of the measurement cell due to atmospheric pressure is measured inductively without making contact. The transducer emits an electrical output signal proportional to the pressure. The device can be powered using a 24 VDC power supply or a variety of AC voltages. The instrument is available with an ISO factory calibration or DAkkS calibration certificate (optional).

Halstrup - Walcher KAL100 Mobile calibration device

The KAL 100 calibration device combines a pressure transmitter and pressure gauge. These can be used to test and calibrate pressure sensors and other pressure gauges for low pressures both quickly and easily. The desired pressure is indicated on the digital display and pressure is generated quickly and precisely through the use of a closed loop, thereby eliminating the need for an external pressure generator.

The KAL 100 can also be fitted with a USB port (optional). This allows testing protocols to be transferred simply to the PC. The instrument is available with a power supply and a measuring input for external test objects (optional). No additional power adapters or measuring instruments required for the test object. Available with lithium-ion rechargeable battery (optional). The instrument is available with a ISO factory calibration or DAkkS calibration certificate (optional). 

 

Halstrup - Walcher P29 Safe measurement of differential pressure of natural gas

The pressure transmitter is particularly suitable for measuring volume flow of town gas supplies or other gaseous hydrocarbons such as butane, methane etc. in industrial furnaces or combustion plants. The instrument does not generate any ATEX zone as its design and technical safeguards mean it poses no ignition hazard. The measuring range is scalable in the range from 10 .. 100 %. This can be performed using a keyboard and display (optional). The measured values can be displayed in all standard units. A selectable time constant allows the transducer to be adjusted perfectly to the pressure conditions and thus ensures a stable output signal. The P 29 can be mounted either on a wall or on top-hat rails.

The EMA 200 is a portable, battery-powered digital pressure gauge for precise measurement of positive and negative differential pressures. Because it is easy-to-use, the EMA 200 lends itself well to maintenance work and customer service applications for heating, air-conditioning and ventilation units, where it can be used for monitoring filters and measuring fireplace drafts as well as measuring flow rates and determining volumetric flows. The instrument is available with an ISO factory calibration or DAkkS calibration certificate.

The PUC 28 process monitoring system is especially suitable for pressure monitoring applications in cleanrooms, laboratories, pharmaceutical plants and operating theatres. The system has two electrical inputs for humidity, temperature or external pressure transmitters. The measurement values provided by these devices are displayed on the graphic LCD display. As well as recording differential pressure, it also measures positive and negative overpressure and is freely scalable within the measuring range.
Two optional contact points allow the user to connect visual or audible alarms that are triggered any time values rise above or fall below specified limits. These threshold values can be set as parameters both for the internal differential pressure sensor and for the external humidity, temperature or pressure transmitter. The transmitter can be configured easily via an RS 232 interface (optional) with software. This can also be performed using a keyboard and display. A selectable time constant allows the transmitter to be adjusted perfectly to the pressure conditions and thus ensures a stable output signal.
The PUC 28 is suitable for wall mounting in cleanrooms due to its smooth, solvent-resistant plastic surface. The device is easily integrated into central building control systems via the optional PROFIBUS DP interface. In this case, the Profibus connection acts as a gateway for the analogue signals from the external transmitters, which thus require no PROFIBUS DP interface of their own.

As well as measuring the differential pressure, the instrument also records positive and negative overpressures as well as flow rates or volumetric flows. 
The measuring range is scalable in the range from 10 .. 100 %. This differential pressure transmitter in a control panel housing is suitable for use as a 2- or 3-point controller thanks to its two integrated limit contacts. These permit the realisation, e.g. of ventilation controls, at low cost and without the need for additional electronics. Both the threshold values and the hysteresis for the controller are easy to set via the front keyboard. The display provides readings of measurement values directly on-site in Pa, kPa, inchH2O or mmH2O as well as information about the output states of the limit contacts. An adjustable time constant (up to 10 s) allows the instrument to generate an attenuated output signal, even under fluctuating pressure conditions. Cyclical self-calibration of the zero point ensures a high level of measurement accuracy. The instrument is available with an ISO factory calibration or DAkkS calibration certificate (optional).

The AD 1000 absolute pressure transducer is designed for displaying atmospheric pressure (BA 1000) and absolute pressure. Halstrup - Walcher KAL84 Mobile calibration device

The portable, battery-operated KAL 84 calibration system combines a pressure transmitter and pressure gauge. These can be used to test and calibrate pressure sensors and other pressure gauges for low pressures both quickly and easily. A high degree of accuracy and excellent reproducibility of results combined with a robust design give the system all the functionalities required for laboratory and service applications.

Calibration in mmHg (optional) makes the system ideal for applications in accordance with the regulations for users of medical products, e.g. blood pressure monitors and infusion/suction pumps.
