Application
Central Interlocking Leakage Protective Device Type RRGCB-01/02WK is designed for complex protection before results of nongrounded single and three-phase power networks or electric AC installations of rated voltage of 127 V or 220 V and rated frequency of 50 HZ. The protective device is a single parameter under resistance protection identifying faults of to ground insulation of networks or installations, by measuring a substitute value of insulation resistance with the use of a constant-current method.
In a network connected to an operating voltage the protective device meets requirements of a central protection and, after being disconnected, the requirements of an interlocking protection. Selection of an operating mode is carried out by an intelligent electronic system.
The protecting action of the protective device is based on the principle that the network supply voltage is cut-off immediately, in case a fault of insulation is identified in an active network, or that the possibility to switch it on again is interlocked when the fault remains after the network supply voltage has been cut-off. The protective device reacts on any type of symmetrical or unsymmetrical insulation faults. The state of actuation is signaled by means of a light indicator and interlocked by means of a non-volatile memory system.
