Embedded/Port Mounted Linear Cylinder Position Sensor

The Everight Sensors L3 is an extremely robust linear position sensor designed to be embedded in, or port mounted to, a hydraulic cylinder, and reliably provide an analog current or voltage (SSI available as OEM option) output over the sensor’s measuring range while operating in a fluid power environment. Based on Everight’s proprietary, contactless NyceWave™ (DIST) Distributed Impedance Sensing Technology, the L3 employs a unique solid probe construction that is extremely robust when subjected to intense shock and vibration, and only requires a simple conductive tube target (or simply the gun drill ID of the cylinder rod) for operation, rather than a magnet or some other special target type. Contactless sensors such as the L3 are not subject to wear and experience no output signal deterioration over the life of the sensor. Field programmability is available on the L3.

L4 Linear Position Sensor

Short Range, Flange Mounted Linear Cylinder Position Sensor

The Everight Sensors L4 Linear Position Sensor is a robust, flange mounted linear position sensor that reliably provides an analog current or voltage (SSI available as OEM option) output over the sensor’s measuring range while operating in an industrial environment. Based on Everight’s proprietary contactless NyceWave Position Sensing technology, the L4 is not subject to wear-out of the sensing element and experiences no output signal deterioration over the life of the sensor. The L4’s spring loaded shaft allows for precision measurement of the linear position of a moving object without the necessity of mechanical attachment. This sensor is also available with a non-spring loaded shaft which may be supplied detached from the sensor and created in a variety of configurations for OEM's.

The Everight Sensors L14 is an extremely robust free standing linear position sensor designed to provide an analog proportional voltage output over measuring ranges from 50 to 400mm while operating in difficult environments. Based on Everight’s proprietary, contactless NyceWave™ (DIST) Distributed Impedance Sensing Technology, the L14 employs a unique solid probe construction that is extremely tough when subjected to intense shock and vibration, and yet only needs to interact with a plain conductive target tube to operate, rather than a magnet or other special target type. Contactless sensors such as the L14 are not subject to wear and therefore experience no signal output deterioration over the life of the sensor.
