Emerged from the fusion of the GefeG company, which was founded in 1948, and the NECKAR Kleinstmotoren company in Deißlingen, which was founded in 1967, we are, today a worldwide respected partner for our customers when it comes to innovative and customized driving systems. The product portfolio of Gefeg-Neckar Antriebssysteme GmbH include drive solutions for the most wanted drive applications until 750 Watt. We fulfil mostly all specifications in many different branches of drive systems technology. Because of our brilliant engineers and long term know how we are able to configure all drive systems customized to fulfil your client’s requirement. Today millions of our systems are reliably driving machines and facilities in many different branches of business. This has been achieved through the top engineering performance of our employees which has always led us to top results regarding quality and technology – motivated by our customer’s needs. But we are still working on improvements to our wide range of technically most advanced products, including electrical drives, gears and systems, because “PRECISION is ON THE MOVE”.
Advantages to such hygiene design drives are, that there is no places or space where particles can accumulate (thanks to: rounded edges, hidden screws and finely turned surfaces). Thus, our solutions meet special requirements for hygiene or corrosion resistance. Of course, using stainless steel for the motor and gearbox as a complete enclosure chassis and guarantee high protection in IP69K is always a challenge. An extremely corrosion-resistant material facing the problem there is weak heat conductivity at all. In order to obtain the required motor power in a very compact unit/size are all our motor designs customized. For the most different applications (for example swimming pool covers with chlorinated water) we use the most suitable stainless steel material. You can get all brushless motor and gear-motors in stainless steel. Whether planetary gears or worm gears – stainless steel versions or enclosed versions are with Gefeg Neckar always possible.
