BX Style

The BX Style slip ring is available with 2 to 40 conductors. The BX mounts cantilevered at the end of a shaft using a 2" or 4" mounting flange. This unit is a sealed unit with your choice of anodized aluminum or stainless steel splash proof encasement. The stainless steel units may be oil filled for condensation prevention. The BX 16, 20, 30, 40 are highly customizable large versions of the standard BX product line. Available in 4 standard lengths, we can vary the wiring configuration to meet your specific needs. Our BX model is so popular and mission critical that we maintain a variety of configurations on the shelf for immediate delivery

THROUGH BORE(Lg)

The TB 2.0 to 4.0 model is designed to fit over shafts from 1 to 4 inches. Standard models available with bore sizes of 2 or 4 inches and 4, 8, or 12 rings. If your application requires a nonstandard bore size, we will build the next larger size and install a reducing sleeve with the required bore size for a nominal charge. Please consult our staff for information concerning rotational speeds

THROUGH BORE(Sm)

The TB 1.0 model is available in 6, 12 and 18 conductors. The model is designed to fit over a .375 to 1.00 inch diameter shaft. The optional stainless steel encasement makes it suitable to operate in a salt air environment. The assembly can be modified to rotate up to 3,000 rpm for short periods of time. The HT (High Temperature) style units evolved through custom development with customer partners in the petroleum industry. These unique products are designed for the harshest of environments and they are able to withstand the high pressure, high rpm and extreme temperature typically associated with downhole tooling applications. Each unit is manufactured with an anodized aluminum encasement. Our standard unit is manufactured with 2 foot leads on each end. The HT-1.79 and HT-1.85 is a 20 ring unit designed to run in synthetic oil. Mounting options can be modified to meet customer specific needs

explosion proof/hazardous

IEC has attained explosion proof/hazardous location certification from CSA International for the IEL BXXP series of electrical slip rings for use in Class 1, Division 1, Groups C and D locations. The BXXP is available in standard configurations with 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 rings. Custom configurations are available with up to 44 rings. Please contact our staff for assistance with your needs
