PTC HEATING ELEMENTS (RECTANGLE TYPE)

All models listed in the specifications table below can be portioned into smaller sizes (MIN= 2.5x2.5mm). The resistance of segmented PTC thermistors or PTC chips will increase in proportion with its size.

For example:
1. A PTC chip of 1000Ω, segmented into 1/2, its resistance will become 2000Ω per segment (1000Ω x 2segments = 2000Ω)
2. A PTC chip of 20Ω, segmented into 1/4, its resistance will become 80Ω per segment (20Ω x 4segments = 80Ω)

The Micro Temperature Controller's small, compact design(patented) provides a quick solution for implementing heating features into your existing designs without the hassle of reorganize circuit layouts. It's robust feature allows customized ON/OFF temperature range as well as time interval settings, with more than 10,000 specifications available. It can be utilized in with our light weighted Ultra-thin Flexible Heater, or with any products with limited space.

The 4 Phase Temperature Controller uses the PWM mechanism to control power input, giving four settings of 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% power input. The output temperature varies depending on the heater device. It’s small, light, easy to control, especially suitable for heater blankets, pet warmer, heater mattress etc.

The Digital Temperature Time Controller is designed for more precise heating. The temperature can be controlled within 1’C of the set temperature with sampling rate at 100ms. It is most suitable to be used with KLC’s heating elements like  Ultra-thin Flexible Heater, Far Infrared Heaters and low ampere PTC Air Heater and PTC Heat Conductors

KLC’s Ultra-High Temperature Ceramic Water Heating Elements can heat up to 1300℃ in dry environment (or up to 25 Watt density) and can achieve up to 98% heat efficiency under water! The Ultra High Temperature Ceramic Water Heating Elements have excellent insulation properties and thermal conductivity. Due to its composition, it is not only safe to use, it is also environmentally friendly. Ultra High Temperature Ceramic Water Heating Elements’ superior performance and compact shape and size allows greater flexibility in end product design.

Installation Guidance: When heating liquid/water

 

  1. Please ensure heating element is entirely immersed in liquid. If partially exposed in air will cause breakage.

  2. When water has evaporated (dry heating), please do not add water immediately. May cause cracks or damage to product.

  3.  Ensure there are not glue adhered to the surface of the product.

  4. Make sure correct voltage is applied.

  5. Ensure the heating element is installed vertically. To ensure the performance and reliability of our heating element is maximized, it is recommended to install the heating element vertically at the bottom of the container if used in the instant water heater application. The hot water outlet should be located at the top of the container and ensure water level is 30~40mm above the heating element.

  6. To prevent decrease of withstanding voltage of the heating element under server ambient condition. It is recommended to add thermal resistance rubber seal to the exposed section of the heating element.
