Ex-Protected
For more than a century SCHUCH has been considered as an expert in lighting of gas and dust hazardous areas. With the results of our own intensive research and design work, we have always acted and still act as an innovator in the challenging field of Ex lighting. Thus, we decisively shaped the development of conventional explosion-protected linear luminaires as well as of the relevant standards. Ex-protected linear luminaires with 2-pin base technology are inseparably associated with SCHUCH. Our explosion protected LED light fittings for hazardous areas zone 1/21 impress with their innovative encapsulation. The production of these challenging special light fittings, from the encapsulation to the final assembly, takes place in-house using own state-of-the-art production plants.

In hazardous areas zone 1 and 21, the explosion-protected LED emergency light fittings with single battery of product series ExeLED 1 N provide this with great reliability and noticeably high efficiency. Through automatic self-monitoring with regular function and duration tests, as well as the optical indicator of test results, it is possible to ensure that the light fittings immediately provide light with maximum luminous flux in the event of a power outage.

HIGH BAY
SCHUCH has procuded light fittings for applications in workshops, industrial, processing and storage areas even in the beginning of its history. Our LED high bay light fittings are characterised by high efficiency and, in particular, excellent thermal management, which is the basic condition of a long service life and one of the most important quality factors for LED light fittings. As in our other product segments, our design engineers have covered more and more application fields with severe operating conditions. As a result, along with standard series, many new special versions have been developed over the time, e.g. "high resistant" (HR) or "extreme resistant" (ER) versions for application in corrosive atmospheres and harmful gas environments. LIMAS
Wireless light management
Our light management system LIMAS allows a needs-based, intelligent lighting control on streets, squares and cycle paths. Furthermore, LIMAS is also available for our LED high bay light fitting series DUEVO.
Intelligent components built into the light fittings automatically generate a wireless network to communicate with each other. As desired or when motion is detected, the light fittings can either turn up a dimmed lighting level or return to a pre-set background level. Programming and monitoring is possible via encrypted remote access or via mobile device on-site. Thus, a lighting network can be operated, controlled and monitored efficiently.
LIMAS LINE
Wired light control
Once set up, the compact, intelligent controller takes command of the entire lighting solution - fully automatically and according to the user's needs. The result is an easy-to-use, wired light control system, which creates ideal conditions for flexible use of space, in particular, focuses on the various needs of people and additionally reduces operating costs.
The available light fittings, sensors and controls leave nothing to be desired - from simple switching on and off and dimming, to user-defined lighting scenes and control of the emergency lighting. In addition, it is possible to control the light manually at any time. It can also be integrated into any building management system with a BACnet interface (LIMAS - Line PRO only).
