CSD Embedded Pipe Inlets

Optimized gas and water tightness is obtained by applying the SLIPSIL® sealing plugs in CSD® embedded conduit inlet system or in the CSD® flanged conduit sleeves. These offer optimum ease of installation, prevent any damage to the plugs during insertion and prevent that the plugs are inserted too deep into the conduit opening.

Description

The CSD embedded pipe system with pipe inlets are exactly fitting for the SLIPSIL sealing plugs. The inlets are provided with a collar that acts as a water barrier and fixation into the concrete. The system comes with adjustment pipes that enable the installer to adjust the embedded pipe system to the width of the formwork for casting the concrete. The adjustment pipes fit at the back of the pipe inlet and can be cut to size at site. At the other side a pipe inlet will fit to enable application of the SLIPSIL plugs at both sides. The set of inlets and adjustment pipe can be fixed to the wooden plates of the form work with specially developed fixations. The system is very stable and the material used is impact resistant to cope with the load when the concrete is vibrated to density.

 

SLIPSIL

The SLIPSIL sealing plug is the ideal solution for the fire safe and gas and water tight sealing of transits carrying single or multiple plastic or metal pipes. Compared with other sealing plugs, installing the SLIPSIL plug is extremely simple. The plugs can be installed in minutes and do not require any bolting or other mechanical outfitting. The plugs can already be exposed to high pressures immediately after installation. 

Description

SLIPSIL plugs cause no mechanical stress and avoid corrosion problems. That offers owners buildings the possibility to save on maintenance costs. 

The service life of the SLIPSIL plugs easily exceeds 20 years under normal environmental conditions. The plugs can be used in a very wide temperature range. Even at low temperatures down to -50° C the rubber stays flexible and does not harden excessively as other rubber types will do. This guarantees tightness even at low temperatures. The rubber can also be used in applications up to +180° C. A single rubber grade is now capable of satisfying almost all sealing conditions

SLIPSIL - MPP

SLIPSIL - MPP is designed to provide a simple solution for both cable and pipe multi-penetrations. The system can be used for transits carrying a variety of pipes/cables with different diameters. Just like the installation of the SLIPSIL sealing plug the SLIPSIL - MPP installs in a couple of minutes. Just lubricate and push - that's is!

Description

The SLIPSIL - MPP sealing systems allows easy access for later extensions of the pipework or cables. Since the sealing system is based on the unique SLIPSIL installation methode, there is no bolting nor any other mechanical device required. The SLIPSIL - MPP modules offer a variety of configurations and are the ideal solution for underground ducting in concrete pits and foundations.

DYNATITE

The DYNATITE sealing plugs were developed for applications where a high degree of (instantaneous) tightness is required. The DYNATITE plugs are compressible;the high-tech design of DYNATITE actually allows the system to get tighter as the pressure increases. 

Description​

The plugs can easily withstand shock pressure loads of more than 150 psi (10 bar) and will return to their original shape after shock pressure. The dynamic compression of the plug is based on the high-tech rubber grade and the engineered profiling. 

DYNATITE was specially developed for application in columns in semi-submersible offshore rigs, following incidents where traditional cable transit systems suffered catastrophic failure under high pressure. 

Today's typical application areas of the DYNATITE system are:

  • environments where penetrations may be suddenly exposed to extreme conditions

RISWAT

RISWAT is a unique system that is specifically designed for the water and gas tight sealing of penetrations, irrespective of whether the openings pass through walls and ceilings in buildings or through decks and bulkheads on board ships. RISWAT assures a dependable seal.

Description

The system is suitable both for cable and pipe transits. RISWAT is fast and simple to install, and offers a high level of gas and water tightness. It eliminates for good the necessity for pre-engineering or special conduit frames. 

The RISWAT system is used to provide water and gas tight seals for transit openings carrying multiple cables and for ducting pipes that have to be able to move in all directions. The system, which requires relatively little space to install, is suitable for the sealing of both new and existing transit openings.

AQUASTOP
AQUASTOP mouldable rubber has been developed for leaking penetrations in building and installations.

Description

AQUASTOP mouldable rubber is made of a silicone polymer. This avoids that the ground water will be polluted when the inert material is used. The AQUASTOP rubber is verysticky and can be applied on wet surfaces. As the rubber is mouldable by hand, any desired shape required for the repair work can be moulded.

NOFIRNO

Wherever metallic pipes and or cables have to be sealed RISE/NOFIRNO offer the ultimate solution - the ultimate in fire ratings, the shortest installation times and maintenance friendly. Even combined penetrations for metal and plastic pipes as well as cables can be sealed effectively. One system for all types of penetrations! This multi-all-mix system is approved for any combination of cable, metallic, GRP or plastic pipes and has a service life of over 20 years. Needless to say that the NOFIRNO system offers the best Total Cost of Ownership on the market of sealing systems. 

Description

NOFIRNO is fire safe as well as gas and water tight systems. The system is approved for the harshest fire ratings for pipe penetrations (A, H and Jet Fire class) and allows substantial movement of the ducted pipe within the conduit. The high pressure ratings allow the system to be used for gas and/or watertight penetrations as well. To obtain the required watertightness no compression is needed. The system has no metal parts thus avoiding corrosion on the pipe work. The perfect sealing of the NOFIRNO sealant also avoids (invisible) corrosion within the penetration.

NOFIRNO

NOFIRNO is the ideal solution for the firesafe and gas, smoke and watertight sealing of multi-cable penetrations. The system is even aproved for the sealing of bundled LAN cable sets. NOFIRNO is a rapid sealing system for multi-cable penetrations.

Description

Installing fire safe and gas and water tight sealing systems often requires a lot of pre-engineering and installation time. Not with NOFIRNO. The system does not require pre-engineering, special conduit frames or insulation in front of the penetration. Instead NOFIRNO allows the shortest possible conduit length, while overall less insulation is needed. Moreover, NOFIRNO is extemely simple to install. The minimized number of components and the approval for use in concrete, steel and aluminium partitions allow you to save on stocks and material handling. Sealing your penetrations with NOFIRNO means therefore saving time ánd money!

CRUSHER

The most simple and effective RISE/ULTRA technology makes the CRUSHER system applicable for all plastic pipe penetrations. The RISE/ULTRA C-fit crushers squeeze down and seal opening during a fire. For oversized conduit sleeves RISE/ULTRA wraps are available. During fire exposure the RISE/ULTRA compound forms an adhesive mass. 

Description

The CRUSHER system is approved for a multiple mixture of all kinds of plastic pipes. The crushers or wraps are combined with the NOFIRNO sealant that adheres well to plastics and offers a high degree of water tightness.

ACTIFOAM

ACTIFOAM is used to fill any cavities or gaps in constructions. In case of fire, the cavity will be totally filled with the expanding rubber, offering a perfect fire seal for a very long duration. ACTIFOAM can also be used for other sealing purposes. An advantage is that ACTIFOAM does not absorb water. Due to the closed cell structure, the rubber has good thermal insulation properties.

Description

The ACTIFOAM multi-cable transit sealing system is available as ACTIFOAM filler sheets and ACTIFOAM slit filler sheets. The oxygen index of ACTIFOAM is 40% (>30% is flame retardant).  An advantage of the ACTIFOAM material is that is does not absorb water. Tested at 2.5 bar water pressure during 24 hours. The K value at 10 °C according to NEN-EN 12667 is 12.3 mk/W. The density of the foam rubber at 23 °C is between 0.35 and 0.4 g/cm3, in accordance with ISO 2781. Compression set of the foam rubber is 14% which stands for a good “memory”. Good weathering, UV and ozone resistance. Temperature range from -15 °C to +70 °C.

  • fire resistant and thermal protection of installations
FIRSTO

FIRSTO firestops are designed to seal multi-cable and cable tray penetrations of fire-rated walls and floors. FIRSTO fire stops are developed as a modular system which is simple to assemble around the cable run against the wall or on the floor. Working in inaccessible openings is often cumbersome. With FIRSTO this is a thing of the past. The system is not only easy to install, but it also makes it a simple job to add or remove cables at a later date. The fire stop prevents the spread of smoke and fire, and can withstand heavy mechanical loads.

Description

FIRSTO is specifically suitable for the fire resistant ducting of cables and/or cable trays through wall and floor penetrations. No other firestop can offer the high level of security with the flexibility, time and cost savings and highest quality standard that FIRSTO offers.

NOFIRNO - BRD

NOFIRNO mineral boards offer a very economic solution for the sealing of larger open spaces in conduit openings. NOFIRNO boards have been successfully tested during a 90 min fire test according to the European standard EN 1366-3:2004 (determination of the fire resistance of a cable penetration through an aerated concrete wall).

Description​

NOFIRNO® mineral wool boards are coated with a layer of NOFIRNO on one or both sides. In case of fire the NOFIRNO coating will form a ceramic protective shield at the exposed side. This shield is also a thermal barrier. Furthermore it prevents moisture from escaping from the inside of the mineral wool board so that no shrinkage will occur during fire exposure. NOFIRNO coating is water resistant.
