Small Encoder SE16/SE22

SE16 and SE22 are high performance, low cost, hollow shaft encoder family, very easy to assembly. 
The device if perfect for speed and incremental position detection on all the applications requiring high reliability, very good performances, easy
and fast assembly and low cost.
The encoder is available with several resolutions, shaft diameters and output circuits.

SME (Small Magnetic Encoder) is an high performance miniaturized encoder family
with good robustness when operating in harsh environments due to extreme temperature, vibrations, dirtiness and so on.
VEM tech offers customized solutions: hollow shaft encoder (for a direct assembly onto a motor rear) or alternatively shaft encoders according to the customers request. 

Several interface solutions are available.

Incremental square wave encoder

  • Resolution: 128 CPR (Counts Per Rotation)

  • Output channels: 2 (quadrature)

  • Power supply: 5 Vdc

  • Output type: TTL compatible.

  • Operating temperature: -30 °C to +120 °C


Absolute encoder

  • Resolution: 10 bit (0.352 °m)

  • Ramp output: from 0.5 Vdc to 4.5 Vdc in 360° shaft turn

  • Power supply: 5 Vdc

  • Resistor load: > 10 kΩ

  • Capacitor load: < 100 pF

  • Operating temperature: -30 °C to +120 °C

5V power supply single ended output optical model.

SE16 is an high performance, low cost, hollow shaft encoder family, very easy to assembly on shaft diameter from 1.5mm to 3.175mm. 
According to the model, the device provides one or two (or two plus index) incremental encoding square wave signals outputs.
The device if perfect for speed and incremental position detection on all the applications requiring high reliability, very good performances, easy
and fast assembly and low cost.
The encoder is available with several resolutions, shaft diameters and output circuits.
In this data sheet the 5V power supply, single ended output, optical model is described.
It is possible to choose between connector or a radial cable output.

5V,12V,24V power supply single ended output optical model. 
SE22 is an high performance, low cost, hollow shaft encoder, very easy to assembly on shaft with diameter ranging from 1.5 mm to 8.0 mm.
According to the model, the device provides one or two (or two plus index) incremental encoding square wave signals outputs. The device is very suitable for speed and incremental position detection on the applications requiring high reliability, very good performances, easy and fast assembly and a good performance/price ratio. The encoder is available with several resolutions, shaft diameters and output circuits. In the current data sheet the 5V power supply, single ended output, optical model is described.
The encoder is also available with 12÷24V power supply and differential output (line-driver); for aggressive
environments a magnetic model is going to be developed.

SMALL ENCODER SE22HR

SE22HR is a very high performance hollow shaft optical encoder; a high resolution is achievable in a small space with a good performance price ratio. The assembly is very easy, the available shaft diameters are in the range from 1.5 to 8.0 mm. The device provides two incremental encoding square wave signals outputs A and B and a tracked index. The device is very suitable for speed and incremental position detection in the applications requiring high reliability, very good performances, with easy and fast assembly.

VEM tech develops and supplies encoder discs and strips for many "motion control" applications with high reliability. In the early stage of the development VEM tech works with the Customer in order to optimize the best product suitable for the application.

The main characteristics are:

  • thickness: 0.18 mm, 0.5 mm (with coating material)

  • coating protection for any moisture or mechanical damage (on customer request)

LINEAR SENSOR,

LINEAR SENSOR

Linear Absolute Position Sensor.
This sensor uses an electronic board with microprocessor and a magnetic detectors strip to define the absolute position of
the external magnet with respect to the measuring bar.

This device is very robust, it can bear total immersion, it has no moving electrical parts and it is very suitable for heavy duty
environments.
