Product Description

In the displacement sensor series CI18 the mechanical detection of linear movement is done by a front guided push rod with accurate sleeve bearings. To avoid vertical or angular misalignment in the mechanical coupling, the push is equipped with a link ball. Due to his compact industrial design with 18x18mm in the profile and his front guided push rod construction a space saving integration can be reached up to 150mm measurement stroke. To ensure high accuracy and long lifetime for a good price performance ratio the potentiometric measuring principle is realized with a high-resolution conductive plastic resistance element. Since the potentiometric measuring principle delivers absolute values and requires no electronic conversion, the position feedback signal is true power on without delay, temperature stable and robust against EMC influences.  For mounting the CI18 has four fixing clams which are included in the scope of supply. The CI18 sensor is available with plug or cable connection.

The mechanical detection of linear movement is done by a front guided push rod with accurate sleeve bearing and inside spring return device. The inductive measurement principle of the MDCT is configured with a casted spool in LVDT winding and a transformation core mounted on the push rod. In addition to the coil the electronic amplifier is placed in the sensor housing. The integrated electronic converts the position feedback signal of the core between the LVDT coils into the typical form of 0..10 V or 4..20 mA. Due to the contactless measurement principle long lifetime can be reached and permits high dynamic application, especially if small oscillating movement has to be detected. The inductive measurement delivers absolute values, is true power on and has high resolution also for movement in micro step. The robust construction of the inductive MDCT with IP65 sealing permits the use also in heavy duty applications.

    IMA2 DMS amplifier is a complete signal processing unit for force or pressure transducers based on straingages. Most of commonly used output signals (0..5 V, 0..10 V, ±5 V, ±10 V, 0..20 mA, 4..20 mA) are available. The amplifier housing (Phoenix / UEGM) is designed for mounting rails. Offset and gain could be easily adjusted by trim-potentiometers at front side.
