Product Description
In the displacement sensor series CI18 the mechanical detection of linear movement is done by a front guided push rod with accurate sleeve bearings. To avoid vertical or angular misalignment in the mechanical coupling, the push is equipped with a link ball. Due to his compact industrial design with 18x18mm in the profile and his front guided push rod construction a space saving integration can be reached up to 150mm measurement stroke. To ensure high accuracy and long lifetime for a good price performance ratio the potentiometric measuring principle is realized with a high-resolution conductive plastic resistance element. Since the potentiometric measuring principle delivers absolute values and requires no electronic conversion, the position feedback signal is true power on without delay, temperature stable and robust against EMC influences. For mounting the CI18 has four fixing clams which are included in the scope of supply. The CI18 sensor is available with plug or cable connection.

To ensure high accuracy and long lifetime for a good price performance ratio the potentiometric measuring principle is realized with a high-resolution conductive plastic resistance element. Since the potentiometric measuring principle delivers absolute values and requires no electronic conversion, the position feedback signal is true power on without delay, temperature stable and robust against EMC influences. Customization on the push rod (length, thread, flat) and cable terminals are available on request.
