Series KT1501 force transducer are very compact models and do not differ in their dimensions over all offered capacities. Because of their shape (S-Beam) this force transducers are recommended for applications with tension force especially. Force is applicated by M12 internal screw thread. DMS Wheatstonebridges (measuring principle) have delivered an optimal performance since decades and ensures a long lifetime

External Amplifier IMA2 DMSIMA2 DMS amplifier is a complete signal processing unit for force or pressure transducers based on straingages.
Most of commonly used output signals (0..5 V, 0..10 V, ±5 V, ±10 V, 0..20 mA, 4..20 mA) are available.
The amplifier housing (Phoenix / UEGM) is designed for mounting rails.
Offset and gain could be easily adjusted by trim-potentiometers at front side.

To reach excellent accuracy the push rod is guided with a high quality ball bearing cage. The cage is placed inside the shaft with the fitting diameter of 8mmh6. On the push rod an accurate glass scale is mounted. Inside the sensor housing the glass scale passes an electronic board with optical detector which generates counting pulses in TTL or Line Driver level up to 1µm resolution. Due to the glass material the measurement is very temperature stable.
