SIT TOP DRIVE® HTD belt is an evolution of standard positive drive belts. The tooth shape is the HTD profile according to ISO 13050. This profile has been used for many years in a wide range of applications and it is well known for its outstanding performances. Power transmission is much higher compared to the classic inch trapezoidal profile.

The circular-arc tooth profile provides superior tooth jump resistance and provides a smooth tooth engagement. The noise level is remarkably reduced if compared to the classic trapezoidal belts. For each pitch a wide range of lengths and widths is available.

ELA-flex SD® timing belts are manufactured with truly endless high-tension strength steel tension cords and high wear, abrasion and tear resistant polyurethane.

Having no splice or welding, the belts have no weak cross sections. ELA-flex SD® timing belts are therefore ideal for high speed power transmission and high load conveying applications.

 ELAClean® Polyurethane belts for food industries

ELAClean® SIT-ELATECH belts are a new range of monolithic belts made of homogeneous, thermoplastic polyurethane, specifically designed for food contact and suitable to meet the required hygiene standards. They are available in various profiles and surface finishing, ensuring quality, precision and customizations for a wide range of applications.

All ELAClean® SIT-ELATECH belts can withstand oil, grease, cleaning agents, bacteria, making them exceptionally easy to clean and suitable in critical hygiene applications (e. g. when processing meat, poultry or seafood, dough and fresh dairy products). In addition to those benefits, ELAClean® belts can be also customized (e. g. with profiles, flights and sidewalls) to handle a wide range of conveying jobs.

Clamp Plates

The special EPDM compound guarantees maximum performance in a wide temperature range and thanks to the ISO SET length tolerance system, it is possible to install multi belts drives with no matching requirements.

Narrow-section MAXSTAR POWER® belts (ENVELOPE) with exceptional life span even for applications in harsh environments.
The MAXSTAR POWER® belts are trapezoidal for high performances, specifically designed to transmit high torque in extreme applications.

Entirely clad in a layer of special high-resistance fabric, they do not require special selections to create multiple transmissions.  

Using MAXSTAR POWER® belts produces very low tension relaxation values that mean the belt does not need to be tightened during the working cycle (Virtually Maintenance Free). Lengths over 3000 mm are available.

PERFORATED Open-end V-belts are made of special mixture of rubber and canvas. Thanks to their joining system they can be assembled without requiring machine disassembly. The belts are pre-drilled, have an angle of 40° and are available in rolls of max. 100 meters.

Our V-Pulleys can be used for application with a speed up to 35 m/s. the pulley dimensions are very accurate as they are manufactured by means of CNC or automatic lathes. For higher speed it is strongly recommended to use steel as material of construction.

 

Adjustable Pulleys

Static adjustable pulleys “PR DV” and “PBR DV” are designed to allow adjustment of pitch diameters.

One flange is screwed on the threaded hub. The movable flange is provided with set screws for fixing into the required position. They are suitable for Z-SPZ-3V; a-SPA; b-SPB-5V; C-SPC section V-belts.

Variable Speed Pulleys – VAR

The variable speed pulley is a well established drive; designed to give continuous speed variation at a comparative low cost. Unfortunately, it is well known that this design is subject to excessive flange wear due to the type of drive systems employed.

The hub is made from induction hardened steel, hard chrome plated and ground to give uninterrupted slide fit with flanges. Keys are not used with this application. Moving flanges give a wide contact area therefore eliminating uneven belt pressure. The pulley flanges are coupled by means of nylon (6,6) sleeve couplings to the outside of the flanges and by two flats machined on each end of the pulley hub. Two springs situated inside the nylon coupling give the desired pressure.

Fixed Pulleys

Fixed driven pulley have been specifically designed to be used with VAR pulleys. They are manufactured in grey cast iron (GG20 -GG25) and are treated with a black manganese phosphating process.

 

SIT​ Poly-V Belt Drives

Poly-V belts have triangular section longitudinal ribs. Thanks to the reduced thickness, these belts are very flexible and can be wind up on very small diameters. Poly-V belts can achieve higher peripheral speed than V-belts.

SAFEMAX® Torque Limiters

In industrial applications, the increase of, automation in the manufacturing processes is becoming a strict requirement; performances are constantly improving Ever the increase of precision utilizing servo systems results in the increase of higher speeds.

Moreover, in order to improve the production capacity it is also important the increase of stiffness of the systems thus the increase of the resistance to global dynamic loads.
The torque overload generated by human error, mechanical malfunction or other causes is, however, unpredictable and if not intercepted can damage to the machine and, consequently, cause downtimes which can be long and, therefore, expensive.

ESAPLUS® elastic couplings

The bolt coupling is a rigid coupling. It is made of two halves, which are cast iron grade GG25 connected by means of bolts. It is maintenance and lubrication free. Additionally, its construction prevents fretting corrosion and allows for easy mounting and dismounting.

Every execution is made by 2 hubs with forks and a central block.

Between pins and bores there are:

In the central blocks of P and E series there are the holes for the lubrication.

For the H series (high-speed applications) no lubrication is needed, because the roller bearing are maintenance free.
