ROTOSTAT N uses a contactless hydrostatic gap seal. The inverse design ensures that the gap remains constant within few µm even at pressures up to 250 bar. This keeps friction loss to the minimum.

ROTOSTAT N rotary unions have been designed for extreme durability. It is especially suited for use under rough conditions such as coiler tensioning in rolling mills, centrifuges or for propeller pitch adjustment in ships.
Exceptional emergency-running properties
ROTOSTAT N unions are available in two variants: as complete rotary unions with up to 8 passages, and as cartridge element for installation in existing structures. The cartridge variant ensures superior emergency-running properties and quick availability in case of repair.
