Spark-proof water sensor type ICP
Application
The ICP spark-proof water sensor is designated to cooperate with spark-proof control circuits of mining relay switches that control, for example draining pumps.
ICP/a is the extended version of the ICP sensor. In its structure the water level sensor contains 2 circuits of the former sensor ICP, one of them being capable to perform a role of an emergency sensor, in case, for example, pump failure occurs and water is not removed in spite of the probe being beyond the maximum level. This state can be signalled by, for example, switching on a siren, an emergency pump etc. The second circuit sensor has been extended by a signalling circuit that is separated from electric circuits of the sensor by means of the CNY65 transoptor (the OC type output) making it possible, for example, to record actual time of operation of a pump. It is designated as ICP’.
The ICP, ICP/a spark-proof water sensors can be installed in rooms classified as a, b, c degree considering the methane explosion hazard as well as class A, B of carbon dust explosion hazard.
