SLIPSIL  SEALING PLUGS & COLLARS

The SLIPSIL sealing plug system is easy to specify and install. Compared with other types of mechanical sealing devices, installing the SLIPSIL plug is extremely quick and simple. The plug halves, along with the outer surface of the pipe and inner surface of the sleeve or core drill hole are lubricated with CSD Lubricant. Then the two halves are simply pushed into the opening.

There are no bolts that have to be tightened, and the seal maintains its integrity for decades.

 

The SLIPSIL plugs can be exposed to pressure immediately after installation. SLIPSIL plugs cause no mechanical stress and eliminate corrosion problems. Once installed, the system never has to be revisited unlike other mechanical type seals, which eliminates future maintenance costs.  

The service life of the SLIPSIL plugs easily exceeds 20 years under normal environmental conditions. The plugs can be used in a very wide temperature range. Even at low temperatures down to -50° C (-58° F), the rubber stays flexible and does not harden excessively as other rubber types will do. This guarantees tightness even at low temperatures. The rubber can also be used in applications up to +180° C (+356° F) . The high-grade silicone rubber grade is now capable of satisfying almost all sealing conditions.

RISE® cable penetrations have been specified by shipyards, naval architects and vessel owners for over 25 years.  Installation is extremely simple: place a RISE® Sleeve around each cable, fill the remaining space with RISE® Filler Sleeves, then apply FIWA® Sealant to both sides of the penetration - it's that easy!

NOFIRNO System

Wherever pipe and/or cable penetrations have to be sealed, NOFIRNO offers the ultimate, most cost-effective solution. NOFIRNO provides the highest fire ratings, the shortest installation times, and a long-term, maintenance free service life.

The NOFIRNO multi-all-mix system was the first system approved for passing any combination of cable, metallic, GRP or plastic pipes through the same penetration. 

 

NOFIRNO sleeves and sealant are made from the highest grade silicone materials, and have a tested service life of over 20 years. Unlike some competitive systems, the NOFIRNO system contains no cheap calcium silicate or mineral wool blankets, which can absorb moisture and cause corrosion of the penetration collar and pipes inside the collar. This problem is referred to as "Corrosion Under Insulation" (CUI). 

The NOFIRNO system is Type Approved for the harshest ratings for A, H and Jet Fire Class, and is also approved for watertight, gas-tight, blast and shock applications. The design of the system allows for pipes and cables to be passed through the penetration off-center, or at an angle. Since the system is based on adhesion, not compression, the risk of damage to fiber optic cables is completely eliminated.

FIRSTO SYSTEM

FIRSTO firestops are designed to seal multi-cable and cable tray penetrations of fire-rated walls and floors. FIRSTO fire stops are developed as a modular system which is simple to assemble around the cable run against the wall or on the floor. Working in inaccessible openings is often cumbersome, but with FIRSTO, this is a thing of the past. 

 

The system is not only easy to install, but it also makes it a simple job to add or remove cables at a later date. The fire stop prevents the spread of smoke and fire, and can withstand heavy mechanical loads.

FIRSTO is specifically suitable for the fire resistant ducting of cables and/or cable trays through wall and floor penetrations. No other firestop can offer the high level of security with the flexibility, time and cost savings and highest quality standard that FIRSTO offers.

CRUSHER  SYSTEM

The  RISE/ULTRA technology makes the CRUSHER system applicable for all types of plastic pipe penetrations.

The CRUSHER Sleeves squeeze down the plastic pipe, and seal the opening during a fire. 

 

During fire exposure the RISE/ULTRA compound forms an adhesive mass, thus preventing the spread of smoke, fire gas and water. 

The CRUSHER system is approved for a multiple mixture of all kinds of plastic pipes. The CRUSHER Sleeves or Wraps are combined with the NOFIRNO sealant that adheres well to plastics and offers a high degree of water tightness.

DYNATITE PLUGS AND COLLARS

The DYNATITE plugs can easily withstand shock pressure loads up to 15 bar (217 psi), and will return to their original shape after shock pressure subsides. 

 

The dynamic sealing capabilities of the system is based on the high-tech rubber grade and the proprietary engineered profiling design. DYNATITE was originally developed for application in offshore rig columns, following incidents where traditional cable transit systems suffered catastrophic failure under high pressure.

SLIPSIL MPP MODULES

The SLIPSIL - MPP system is designed to provide a simple solution for both cable and pipe penetrations. The system can be used for transits carrying a variety of pipes/cables with different diameters. The SLIPSIL - MPP system is easy to specify, and installation is quick and easy.

SLIPSIL - MPP provides a modular solution to penetrations with multiple cables and/or pipes with varying outside diameters. It consists of a standard SLIPSIL Sealing Plug, Multi-Passage Module (MPP) made from high-grade HMPE, and DYNATITE Sealing Plugs.

The SLIPSIL - MPP sealing system allows easy access for later passage of pipe or cable. Since the sealing system is based on the unique SLIPSIL self-compression installation method, there are no bolts or other compression mechanisms required,. The SLIPSIL - MPP modules offer a variety of configurations and are the ideal solution for ducting in concrete pits and foundations.

PLIT FRAMES

Split Frame system is designed for application in areas where an existing, leaking penetration seal cannot be removed, or there is not enough depth to install the NOFIRNO System.

The CSD Split Frames are made of an impact resistant plastic, and can easily be assembled to form a multi-bay configuration. To install, simply place the sections of split frames around the existing cables or pipes, place a NOFIRNO® gasket between the frame and wall / floor, then attach the frames. Once the frames have been installed, the NOFIRNO® Sealing System is applied in order to create a watertight / gas-tight seal.

MODULAR CAST-IN SLEEVE SYSTEM

The Modular Cast-in Sleeve System was designed primarily for use with the SLIPSIL® Sealing Plugs, but can also be used as a standard penetration sleeve for our NOFIRNO product.  

The ID’s of the Cast-In sleeves correspond to the OD’s of the SLIPSIL® Sealing Plugs to ensure a watertight / gas-tight seal, and ensure ease of installation for the plugs. The Sleeve System is fully modular, and allows the sleeve to be adjusted to the thickness of the concrete wall or floor that is being poured.

The NOFIRNO® / AQUASTOP® sealing system is a proprietary, state-of-the-art method for sealing existing pipe and cable penetrations that are experiencing real-time water leakage. FISSIC COATING

About :

FISSIC is a coating that is developed especially to protect metal components in shipbuilding, offshore and industrial plants. These components are often exposed to high humidity levels, seawater and other tough conditions. The FISSIC coating offers excellent protection. The coating is also fire resistant and can be used as a thermal insulating coating on cable and pipe transits.

FISSIC Coating is an APEO-free, water-based polymer emulsion, to which no VOC-containing solvents are added. The coating has been tested extensively and has successfully passed flame distribution and toxicity tests. The coating is gastight up to 30 mBar.

FISSIC is easy to use; the coating can be applied using a brush, roller or airbrush. FISSIC also offers a solution for the frequent problem of corrosion in transits. Providing the insulating layer with FISSIC or using a combination of FYLLOFYS and FISSIC enables the effective prevention of corrosion in the transit.

ACTIFOAM® is a unique, proprietary product based on the ACTIFIRE® Technology by Beele Engineering. It has a wide variety of applications in both industrial and marine / offshore environments

ACTIFOAM® is available in a wide variety of sizes and configurations that can be adapted to unlimited, challenging applications in a variety of installation areas. 

ACTIFOAM® expands on the basis of confined air in the presence of heat or flames, it is therefore not classified as an intumescent material. The material can easily be field cut to the appropriate size requirements. ACTIFOAM® is a closed-cell, material that will not absorb or retain moisture.
