Application
The distribution boxes type SRT/i/m and SRT/N/m are used to distribution of cables and wires in both telecommunication, signaling, methanometric, seismographic and automatic control circuits in intrinsically safe equipments. The SRT/i/m distribution boxes are accepted to operate in rooms classified as a, b, c degree considering the methane explosion hazard as well as class A, B of carbon dust explosion hazard.
Construction of the box
Boxes are in six size versions and are equipped with cable gland. Their amount, arrangement and type is determined according to a client's requirements. Connection plates, KVA-1/a plates , WAGO plates or LSA PLUS 10/2 plates (with using every second clamp) are installed inside boxes. The amount of clamps depends on the size of a box (see the technical data).
The enclosure of a teletechnical panel box type SRT/i/m and SRT/N/m is made from steel sheet. It is characterized by high resistance to mechanical impact. The construction of our box provides a degree of protection of the enclosure IP65. The SRT/i/m box is painted blue and SRT/N/m is grey, where are two variants of corrosion protection:
1. Basic – phthalic primer coat +carbamide coating
2. Anti-corrosion layer + epoxy coating.
At the request of a client, there is a possibility of making a box in the version from stainless steel, then, this box is painted with carbamide coating. Boxes can be connected together in multi-box sets by using special sleeves.

3. The method of corrosion protection
S - Phthalic primer + topcoat ureas
P - Epoxy anticorrosion + coating powder
N - With stainless steel, the box is then painted with enamel ureas.
4. Amount and size of glands
If the customer does not specify in which glands provide requested box, the manufacturer will equip them with M32x1,5 glands (B outlet right and left) and M50x1,5 glands (inlet A) with maximum amount for a given implementation. If the customer wishes to use other glands pleas specify their size using the mark as shown in figure 4 in technical instruction.
