Application
The control unit type USNZ-2 is intended to control point machines in underground rail transport in excavations classified as a, b, c degree of methane explosion hazard and as A, B classes of coal dust explosion hazard.
The USNZ-2 assembly makes it possible:
• to position points remotely (e.g. from an operator’s panel)
• to position points locally by means of a pushbutton installed on the unit housing
• to control signalling of a points position.
The unit is intended to control the KNZ-2 point machine of PEG S.A. Company production, as well as version to control the KEA-3 point machine with a single-phase motor, produced previously by ZWUS Katowice and operated presently in many mines.
