Application
Fiber box type SRT/i/VI is designed to connect fiber-optic cables in areas exposed to shock and impact. It can serve as a joint and fiber distribution frame. Two splice trays stacked in tiers allow installation of 24 mechanical splices. Mounted commutation strip accommodate 12 adapters SC Simplex or SC Duplex so it is possible the introduction cables with SC/APC/E2000 connectors and perform switching inside the box. The distribution boxes are accepted to operate in rooms classified as a, b, c degree considering the methane explosion hazard as well as class A, B of carbon dust explosion hazard.
The box is made of modified T-27 CF HI Tarnamid characterized by a <109Ω surface resistance and a very high resistance to mechanical shock.
