Application
The flame-proof Apparatus box type of OSA ensures safe functioning of electrical devices installed inside, because the box is certified as the Ex subassembly doesn’t have independent functions (it isn’t predicted for independent applying) and requires the additional certification, after installation of electrical equipment to the inside. The box is adapted for assembling of flame-proof cable glands of type WP 13-23– the Ex subassemblies, enabling entry (exit) of conductors to the terminals of electrical equipment placed in the protective enclosure. The box is divided in two chambers connected to each other with flameproof insulation cable ducts of type PIO-2/D* – the Ex subassemblies.
Flameproof Apparatus Box is adapted to the safe use in undergrounds and surface mining plants, where there is a risk of explosion of methane and coal dust ensuring the highest level of the of explosion protection.
