Product Description

Series KM202 force sensors are double bending beam sensors and due to this shape less sensitive to excentric force application.

This sensors are offered without built in amplifier, but could be combined with our external amplifiers and panel meters.

  • External Amplifier IMA2 R

    IMA2-R amplifiers are complete signal processing units for potentiometric transducers and convert potentiometric output signals to standardized signals. The connected sensor is powered with 5 V by default (supply voltages between 0 and 10 V could be realised on request) Most of commonly used output signals (0..5 V, 0..10 V, ±5 V, ±10 V, 0..20 mA, 4..20 mA) are available. The amplifier housing (Phoenix / UEGM) is designed for mounting rails.

The inductive measurement principle of the EVT is configured with a casted spool in LVDT winding and a transformation core mounted on the push rod. With an external electronic amplifier, our IMA2 LVDT, the position feedback signal of the core between the LVDT coils is transformed into the typical form of 0..10 V or 4..20 mA. Due to the contactless measurement principle long lifetime can be reached and permits high dynamic application, especially if small oscillating movement has to be detected. The inductive measurement delivers absolute values and is true power on. Because of his good linearity in view of small measurement strokes and high resolution also for movement in micro step the EVT sensor provides high accuracy. The stainless steel construction is realized in small housing dimenson with only 10 mm diameter and provides IP65 sealing protection. This combination of mini design, robust IP65 construction and high accuracy gives the inductive EVT series a high performance for linear motion measurement from 2 to 25 mm with space saving integration even in heavy duty conditions. On request our pressure resistant and submersible EVT-W version with strong cable exit is available in measurement strokes from 2 to 25 mm.
