The TX6355 Sentro Wireless is a truly wireless gas detector. Powered by the Strata CommTrac network, it removes the expensive setup and maintenance costs associated with wired infrastructure. The TX6355 Sentro Wireless uses commercially available batteries, giving 40 to 45 days operating life between battery replacements.

The TX6355 can measure carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide and methane and many other gases. There is also an option to monitor external relay contacts and to report their state via the Strata CommTrac wireless network 

In addition, the Sentro Wireless can trigger external relays to control ancillary equipment, for example switching on a fan or pump

TX6351/TX6352 SENTRO 1 GAS DETECTOR

Our market-leading universal gas detector incorporating the e-module technology for fast and easy calibration.

Sentro 1 is the world's foremost fixed gas detector for hazardous location gas detection. At the heart of Sentro 1 is the eModule; intelligent standardised gas sensing modules to cover a range of toxic and flammable gases. Dynamic and historic data is stored within each module together with the condition of the gas sensing element and its service history.

Service and calibration, or switching to a different gas type, only requires the change-out of the module and this can be done with the power still applied.

There is a choice of output signals with the option of an in-built audio visual alarm. The RS485 output version can be networked to a PC for central control and monitoring and is fully addressable from the base station.

The Trolex TX6400 Sentrum Monitoring System is designed to provide the complete solution for Methane Recovery Monitoring applications. Using proven technology, the TX6400 was developed to measure methane at source and at strategic points throughout the methane pipe network.

Complex algorithms are used to correct for the effects of non-methane hydrocarbon cross sensitivity, together with mass flow calculations, providing all the required information in one package to monitor the efficiency of the methane recovery system allowing purity problems to be resolved quickly, thus improving safety and methane capture.

ATEX & IECEx certified and five times more accurate than the industry standard model, the Air XD Real-Time Dust Monitor offers unparalleled accuracy and reliability. Using a unique algorithm, the device can measure particulate matter (PM) sizes ranging from 0.35μm – 40μm (including PM1.0, PM2.5, PM4.25, PM10 and Total Suspended Particles) and captures up to 10,000 samples every second.

The Air XD Real-Time Dust Monitor features:

Deployed as a standalone dust monitor or as part of a wider on-demand dust control and suppression system, the Air XD is accurate to within +/- 5%. For operation-wide control and visibility, data from the unit can be fed into a SCADA interface.

ROCKMONITOR XA

High visibility, low-cost warning system for strata monitoring.

The TX5010 RockMonitor XA is an auto-warning telltale with bright LEDs which immediately flash to warn of excessive movement occurring in a rock-bolted mine or tunnel.

With the RockMonitor XA, you have:

  • Immediate warning of any rock movement
  • High-visibility LED warning lights
  • A robust device designed for challenging environments

If rock movement exceeds the defined threshold (which can be configured as required), two high-intensity flashing LED lights activate on the RockMonitor XA, putting the device in alarm mode and providing a highly visible warning.

These LEDs will continue to flash whilst the indicator shows more than the threshold level until the battery is exhausted – which is at least three weeks.

When not in alarm mode the RockMonitor XA consumes zero power, therefore requiring minimal service and maintenance. This means it can be active and successfully operate for several years before needing to be replaced.

The product has been designed to be both robust and resilient, making it suitable for dynamic mining and tunnel construction operations, such as pillar extraction, or for use in low-visibility areas.

The TX5020 RockMonitor XM is a low-cost, reliable and rugged strata monitoring device that provides clear and accurate at-a-glance information on roof movement.

The RockMonitor XM provides:

  • Colour banded indicators for quick assessment of rock movement

Highly visible and easy to install, the RockMonitor XM can be deployed in a mine or tunnel and uses reflective colour bands to indicate roof movement. The visual millimetre scales provide highly accurate monitoring of strata movement trends over time.

The units have been designed and built to provide exceptional in-hole stability and water diversion, to ensure reliable and precise information is displayed at all times.

The TX5020 RockMonitor XM is also available as a triple-height version, with longer tendons, and as a cable-bolt version with longer anchor wires.

Sentro Humidity has a sensing range of 10 to 90% RH condensing and has two programmable set points for general and high alarms.

TX5921/TX5922/TX5923 VORTEX AIR/GAS FLOW SENSOR

The world's pre-eminent flow monitoring device, with no moving parts and high linearity over the full sensing range.Available in three standard formats.

The rear projecting sensor TX5921 is easily fitted onto ventilation ducts or pipes using the wide range of mounting hardware to sense and monitor air or gas flow. It is also good for roadways and open areas where horizontal mounting is preferred.

TX5922 has a side projecting sensor which can be used in open areas where a vertical mounting arrangement is preferred.

The Trolex Liquid Flow/Pressure Monitoring Sensor has been specifically designed to tolerate extreme conditions and still deliver highly accurate flow data so that equipment can operate at peak efficiency with minimal downtime.

Precise condition monitoring is crucial in maintaining peak performance and safety; shearers, cutters and road headers can all benefit from accurate flow monitoring of water spray systems, high pressure hydraulics and lubricating systems.

Dynamic static pressure and temperature compensation is incorporated and the sensor can easily absorb sporadic high pressure peaks. There are no moving parts and no intrusion into the liquid flow path.

TX2070 TEMPERATURE SENSOR

 Compact, solid-construction PT100 temperature monitoring device.

Compact, solid construction, PT100 temperature sensors suitable for direct mounting on machinery and plant equipment where access is restricted.

There are three basic formats; 'In-line' insertion sensor for fitting into thermal pockets, the 'angled' header version which enables the connecting cable to lay flat and the 'surface' sensor has single-hole fixing for monitoring the surface temperature of bearings, housings, brake shoes, casings, etc.

All three can be fitted with the standard Trolex flexible armoured conduit and can be deployed with a variety of mounting bushes and thermal pockets.
